I'm investigating different tools for group blogs and was wondering if anyone had experience with postnuke or similar products and could make some suggestions. Postnuke might be overkill if all you want to do is set up a group blog but it seems like there are some other features that might come in handy.

Re: postnuke? other tools?
Mon, January 26, 2004 - 1:16 AMI don't have any experience with group blogging but I did at some time some investigation into this field as well. A good alternative to a group blog might be a wiki - especially when there is some mechanism to post choosen content from wiki as blog.
Some links to group blog software:
slashcode.org, scoop.kuro5hin.org, and the wiki I use kwiki.org. I have tried the everything engine as well, but it's very complicated, buggy and generally cumbersome. -

PHP/MySQL based. Easy to hack. And I've written all sorts of nonsense for it (a fairly average TrackBack implementation etc.). I'm hoping to fork it soon.
